Meet some of our former rescues!

A Tale of One Kitty and Two Cities

I’d like to start with my back story, if that doesn’t make me sound too much like a Marvel character.

There I was, sitting in the heat, minding my own business, when these two arms plucked me out of nowhere (“drive-by-rescue” is the term I’ve used to describe this) and put me in this fabulous air conditioned box on wheels. Well, I’m not one to complain so a nice nap in the cool it had to be.

Fast forward a few months and as nice as it is, living in air conditioned luxury; there were far too many cats around for my liking. I mean, I know I am one, and a fabulous one at that; but there is definitely “too much of a good thing”. So, my wonderful rescuer, decided to help find me a home. And find me a home she did!

Boy, who knew that flying seven hours across the world would end up being totally worth it!? My new humans? They built me a tank. A TANK!! If I didn’t get along so well with the resident dog (he’s not so bad for a canine), then I would definitely tell him to sleep with one eye open.

My cat brother on the other hand, he’s a total cool dude. He lets me share his humans, get lots of cuddles and he even lets me play with his favourite birdie. If that’s not love and bonding, then I don’t know what is!

There are some small humans here too, and my gosh they love me. Not sure what I’ve done to deserve it. Must be something to do with my smiling face, multi-coloured beans and cat yoga. It’s all about the cat yoga, that brings the crowds.

I know it’s London and it rains, but it’s not so bad. Not really. Especially when there is a whole lot of love going around and they seem to like sharing it with me. I’m on to a good thing here…
